Turning back to the catwalk at Hyundai India Couture Week (ICW) 2025, Akshay Kumar became the star of the show leaving the venue as the King of the kingdom set by the star designers of Falguni Shane Peacock. On July 25, 2025 the Bollywood megastar shocked the attendees at the Taj Palace in New Delhi after modelling a 12 year hiatus.

To see the main event, the 57-year-old actor wore a magnificent ivory sherwani of the Falguni Shane Peacock Raj Mahal Bijoux collection. In the style of an updated Indian maharaja, Akshay also sported a bandhgala jacket, a type of kurta with an embroidered sweeping design of silk threads. This was a padded shoulder, full sleeve, and beautiful side slits outfit, making its shape structured, but modern.
The ornate gold buttons completed the essay of the look and a similar ivory kurta and straight-fit ethnic trousers were added to the look. The traditional outfit was augmented by silver-studded juttis and shiny black-colored sunglasses which gave a contemporary twist.
Due to great tradition of palaces such as Jaipur city palace and Laxmi Vilas palace, the Raj Mahal Bijoux line has been conceived based on nobility of India, ornate menu and magnificent history.
Ramp Legacy of Akshay Kumar
It was a big entry in which Akshay returned to the runway after 12 years. He last appeared in 2018 at the tech fashion tour Season 4 in which he walked the ramp with Lalit Dalmia at JW Marriott in Mumbai. The model wore a Black velvet overcoat with gothic embroidery look on it, as well as asymmetrical ruffs with sharp details that carried the essence of futuristic fashion.
