Ajay Devgn’s Honest Take on Bollywood: “You Can’t Be a Star on Day One”

As the success of Saiyaara is on the rise, a film directed by Mohit Suri and featuring new faces Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, Ajay Devgn, a superstar of Bollywood film industry has given some wise words of wisdom regarding film industry or those who are relatively new in this industry. As he revealed the trailer of his coming movie, Son of Sardaar 2, Ajay also expressed his vision on the struggle of people who wish to become an actor but are not born in a film-related family.

During a good interview with Archana Puran Singh on her YouTube channel, when Ajay recalled his own observations at the beginning of the industry. He shared what he had learned in his father, Veeru Devgan, a star choreographer of stunts. Ajay enjoyed a lot of his technical skills and industry knowledge through the effort and work force of his father. All the things I learned in terms of being technically informed and about the industry as well, are all because of him, Ajay explained the influence his father gave him about professionalism and industriousness.

Reality check too was provided by Ajay particularly to new entrants in the film industry. I mean not all the people but in most occasions, you come in not knowing whether to be an actor or a star. Jon belongs in show business and he could not be a star on the first day, he must be an actor, he said. He is convinced that most outsiders get wrong concepts of the way the industry operates with some even expecting to become stars overnight. As argued by Ajay, hard work is the master key to success and not the fast track into fame. The words of Ajay prove true as he gears up to release Son of Sardaar 2 on August 1 and in just a couple of days, he has proved that nothing succeeds like success and the only way to be successful in Bollywood is to work hard and have a pure love of the work.
